Posting Distribution Service

Approved Tender Contractor with Birmingham City Council
Sunny Digital Prints has significant experience in printing and delivering leaflets to the highest standards, which is why we are able to work to the standards and measures required by Birmingham City Council. We work from start to finish, planning routes and building the most suitable delivery team, meeting the criteria specified in the contract. Our delivery team surveys households and monitors traffic and journey times. Door to door GPS tracking enables us to provide accurate data for Birmingham City Council’s records. We are given a delivery area which the delivery team then map out, with the most efficient delivery plan. We plan for transport routes and footwork to deliver leaflets to the whole target area. The Transport Planning Team take responsibility to monitor the weather, the routes, any obstacles such as roadworks etc and have a proven track record of successfully delivering on time. Our Team has printed and set up Public Notice Boards (laminated) onto lampposts using cable ties, along with maintenance every weeks for Birmingham City Council's Projects.

This also allows customers to view the tracking of our leaflet distributors.

Green Transport
Ensuring greener forms of transportation, we are planning to establish a cycling infrastructure in 2020. Currently, our delivery team to use public transport wherever possible. Effective routes will be planned geographically, targeting adjoining residential areas per delivery person.

How many leaflets per hour?
Our current team means that we will realistically be able to deliver between 60 and 120 leaflets per hour, depending on the conditions of weather, roads and any obstacles to routes. However, route planning, using up to date traffic and weather information, is one of the highlighted roles of the Planning Officer, to ensure that routes are organised to optimum efficiency. We are equipped to take on large orders, with a back-up team ready to deliver your leaflets.

What would you get from GPS tracking?
All of our delivery team members are equipped with GPS tracking software called Ti-Prime 300, which is an enhanced GPS Performance & Accuracy system, with history recording, enabling us to review and download information. This also allows customers to view the tracking of our leaflet distributors. Clients are able to see addresses/postcodes/locations visited, the time and date of each position report and the time spent at each location. We also do provide photographs for further evidence along with GPS reports.

Delay / Issues Raised?
In the event that a letterbox is stiff/broken, a dangerous dog is present, or an abusive resident appears - the leaflet may not get delivered. However, in this instance, details will be recorded, and our delivery team will plan to redeliver another time, using the safest methods possible, to ensure the letter has been delivered. In these instances, photographic evidence will be recorded, to support our team to evaluate effective ways to attempt to deliver the letter.

How many properties in my target area?
We can calculate the number of properties in your selected target areas using our specific software or you can use the Royal Mail address finder.
